How might we design the next generation of fiber cup to be recoverable on a global scale, while maintaining the performance standards we know and trust?

OpenIDEO New York Chapter has partnered with the Design Lab @ NYU MakerSpaceto tackle OpenIDEO’s NextGen Cup Challenge.

This challenge seeks to redesign the to-go fiber cup to be recoverable after use on a global scale. This open innovation initiative, led by Starbucks, McDonald's, and Closed Loop Partners, is the first phase of a multi-year, multi-industry consortium that aims to inspire the design and commercialization of global, circular product alternatives.

We're inviting anyone passionate about driving change and solving tough global challenges through human-centred design to join us in taking this on!
